Ok, this is sad and soppy...
I am extremely down. I haven't been able to exercise since Tuesday because I put my knee out. Today I can walk around the house comfortably, but there is no way I'll be able to workout. I only just got my fitness back up and started getting back into the swing of things. I refuse to give up on my goal, but honestly this NO EXERCISE thing has really got me down and I've completely lost my appetite. I'm just force feeding myself because I have to. Somebody send me a hug please, I really need it.

Hey thanks all!!! I am all smiles again. I just went to the gym for a LIGHT workout. My knee went out once and then I felt some grating and burning and then it seemed to be fine. So I made it!
PS...Oh crap, now I can't stand up HAhahahaha
TeachX3 - June 9, 2007 02:10 PM (GMT)

flowerfluffgirl - June 10, 2007 09:35 AM (GMT)
Maaaan, I am sooo nervous about weighing tomorrow. Because I couldn't work out properly. Usually I doin't lose if I don't exercise. i have kept my eating under wraps though. Because of being so nervous about my goal since my knee, I just lost appetite. We'll see how it goes tomorrow though.

Week 2:
Monday - 1000 cals
Tuesday - 1800 cals/60 min step class
Wednesday - 1300 cals
Thursday - 1000 cals
Friday - 1200 cals/60 min gym circuit
Saturday - 900 cals
Sunday - 900 cals
Average - 1157 cals/17 mins exercise daily
Start - 63.1kgs/138.8lbs
Week end - 61.5kgs/135.3lbs LOSS
Goal this week - 60.5kgs/133.1lbs
Really relieved and super pleased! So the cals are kinda low. I lost my appetite after I hurt my knee so I was kind of force feeding myself. Appetite is still not back properly, but I'm thinking when I get my exercise back up the appetite will come with it.
purrrple - June 11, 2007 02:17 AM (GMT)
Wowie! you're gonna fade away soon! :WoooHooo:
Way to go...but get those cals back up girl!
flowerfluffgirl - June 11, 2007 03:45 AM (GMT)
Hehe, don't worry about me Purps, I LOVE my food. There is no way I'd purposely starve myself. I'm hankering to get back to the gym coz I'm pretty confident that will make my tummy start growling. :)
flowerfluffgirl - June 13, 2007 12:28 AM (GMT)
Ok, so I know that clothes weigh a lot, but c'mon 4-5lbs? So cold here, I'm not abouts to strip off and check again. Hmmm oh well, I'm eating right and exercising great. I think I'll just stay off the scale until Monday!
flowerfluffgirl - June 18, 2007 12:59 AM (GMT)
Week 3:
Monday - 1400 cals/80 mins gym circuit
Tuesday - 1600 cals/80 mins (step-xtrainer)
Wednesday - 1300 cals/70 mins walk
Thursday - 1900 cals/60 min gym circuit
Friday - 1300 cals/no exercise
Saturday - 1400 cals/30 min brisk walk
Sunday - 2100 cals/no exercise
Average - 1571 cals/42 mins exercise
Start weight - 61.5kgs/135.3lbs
Week end - 62.1kgs/136.6lbs GAIN
Goal next week - 61kgs/133.1lbs
Of course I didn't lose anything, I ate far too much. BMR is 1435 so 1571 is not helping me. Apparently with exercise I can eat around 2000cals, so I'm kinda worried about maintainence with these averages and a gain. It doesn't make sense to me. Here's to the new week though.
sapphire - June 18, 2007 01:35 AM (GMT)
Don't worry about it Fluff, it'll probably be gone by next week. All the best!
flowerfluffgirl - June 22, 2007 01:21 AM (GMT)
I'm so close to the end, but I'm finding it really hard to keep going. It has been nothing but stressful over the past few days. My husband has been home for about 4 days in two weeks, I busted my knee so missed a week, my daughter has had gastro since Saturday which is only just under control now, the baby I have during the day is teething and no loss last week despite my best week yet. All this with not a single drop of alcohol. Because I haven't had a drink, I can start to feel my depression getting the better of me. I'm feeling the stress bad and I don't know how to deal with it. I just don't know how to relax. I've just lost all motivation. I'm taking the rest of this week off from 'healthy eating', maybe all I need is a short time out.
stormgirl - June 22, 2007 07:56 AM (GMT)
Aw flower sorry to hear you are finding things tough at the moment. It might be an idea to take time out, just to get your head sorted. This whole process can be incredibly draining...takingtime out is better than getting totally fed up and giving up.
You really are so close now...some time out will do you no harm at all. Thinking of ya :huggs:

it makes perfect sense. If your body is used to an intake of say, 1400 calories, and you give it more then that, it will think it has a surplus and keep the calories in, particularly when you are eating below your required amount on a daily basis. It will take time for your body to adjust, but i'm confident if you give it a few weeks you could lose on 1600-1700 calories and maintain at 2000.
flowerfluffgirl - June 23, 2007 04:58 AM (GMT)
Thanks guys. You are both totally right. If I don't go easy on myself and allow some kind of break every now and then, I'm more likely to pack it all in. I really don't want to go back to my old ways and thats why I'm stressing about a little leeway. I guess, I'll never know if I never go there. So far I'm doing great. I honestly thought if I have one chokkie I'll gorge, if I have one burger, I'll want them everyday, but so far I've fed the cravings and I'm feeling satisfied. So I'm feeling smiley again. With the maintainence, I do understand my body has to get used to the higher cals. I've been through it before when I went from 1200-1400 and now I'm wanting to get to 1500, the adjusting just seems so much more frustrating this close to the end. I am following through with my break for the weekend, but I am looking forward to getting back into it in the new week. Thanks for your support guys. :)

How's it going Fluff!?
You've been doing great so far :bouncy:
flowerfluffgirl - June 26, 2007 04:29 AM (GMT)
Hey Purps...yeah I missed my update day, I've been sick. I followed through and took my break last week, ate some bad food and weighed in at 61.7kgs which is a small loss. I am still feeling crook today, but hopefully I'll be able to get to the gym tomorrow. I'm hanging! How are you feeling?
purrrple - June 26, 2007 07:08 AM (GMT)
Alot better Fluff, Thanks for asking ;)
hope you're back to full health soon...I hate winter...I think that's why I'm getting so depressed lately! We are just going through one of those bad flu's that nearly take the whole town down under...not nice  my daughter has it now :(
