Title: Swimsuit dilema???
NicC - June 17, 2007 03:34 AM (GMT)
Like Teach I really need a new swimsuit. I've tried on a few so far. The funny thing is that the style I like the best (especially for taking my 5 yr old to the wading pool) is a skirt/dress type one. Only problem they didn't have my size. I should be happy, I guess, since the one I tried on was way too big (18 US) and they don't have them in smaller  . Oh well off to another place next week maybe they will have them in a "smaller" size. (Still not small enough but that's for next summer...) ;)

GIRL!!! I have a GORGEOUS suit that is like, BRAND NEW that I bought last year and wore maybe three times that I will give you!! If you are interested, I can take a pic of it, post it here and if you like it, I'll ship it to you! It *says* it is a size 18, BUT I never wore an 18, my biggest clothing were a size 16, so it runs small. It is a 2 pc and the bottoms are a black skirt and the top a tank style with browns, tans and rust colored tropical flowers. It is made by Lane Bryant and is quiet a nice suit! Now if you are not interested, NO PROBLEM, maybe somebody else could use it... I'll post the pics (may be as late as Monday) and you can say ya or nay!

is it just me or do the bottoms look black in one pic and navy blue in the pic where they are by themselves? Maybe there are two different bottoms?
TeachX3 - June 22, 2007 12:47 AM (GMT)
I would not take a photo of two different bottoms shy  ... the flash caused the bottoms up close to look off (if you notice, the carpet is washed out as well) ... it is a black skirt and the tank is black, browns, tans and rust colored.

Oooh that looks like a really nice suit! All this talk about swimwear is making me chilly brrrrrr!

That is a very nice swimsuit. Totally my colors to. However, I think the style wouldn't look good on me. I need something with a defined waist (lots of tummy control) or I look even more frumpy, I've tried on enough suits to know it wouldn't look nice on me  What a bummer. Thank you for the offer, it was very sweet of you. I hope you can find a good home for it!
It's such a blessing to have people offering clothes especially while you are still losing. My friend has given me some pants and my mom pants and tops.
You are so nice to offer, Teach! Thank you again!

If anyone else would like to have it, just let me know! ;)

Finally found one! It's a one piece (black) with a wrap attached (black and white tiger stripish). It was a size 16 (good quality, they always seem to fit tighter). It was on sale at 40% off (good thing because the regular price was $90) The coolest thing was my friend tried on a jean skirt (size 14) at another store and commented how well it fit. So I tried the same skirt in a 16 - it was too big - the 14 fit me too!!! ( I didn't tell her though since she's always been a size smaller a then me and weighs only around 155 ;), I didn't buy it though ). Bought a medium size sweater- hey it was only $7 marked down from $54 and fit nicely. Also got some nice candles for teachers gifts :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: Shopper's High!!!
