Title: MAKE YOUR OWN CHALLENGE - BE ACCOUNTABLE
Description: Get back on track or Stay on Track

A number of us seem to be struggling right now with getting in the swing of things or staying with our programs. Sometimes it's hard to come back from vacation, sometimes we've just been at this a long time and kind of wear out, sometimes we have a hard time getting started.
The idea is to identify something that is your personal challenge for the week (you can cahnge it next week) and tell everyone what you're going to do -- and then keep us posted on how you've done.
And there is no shame in not being perfect, we're a pretty understanding crowd - the key is to get moving in the right direction!

I'll start this out -- my challenge this week is to keep a written food diary every day of every morsel that crosses my lips. I'm doing this in a paper notebook & I intend to do it all week and then for 3 weeks on vacation too.
So far I've done it Monday, Tuesday and breakfast today. Each day I'm learning something - seeing where I make less-than-great choices & also recognizing those little nibbles I didn't even see...

Awesome idea Sarah...my challenge is going to be to do at least some exercise each day. I have slackened off big time lately so I am slowly reintroducing it back into my lifestyle. 2.2 mile run yesterday and I hope to do a 5K run after work later on.
Good luck and look forward to hearing about your progress. I am currently 3 pounds up and can really feel it on my belly

EDIT: I'm changing my challenge. I am going to avoid drinking lemonade/limeade/pink lemonade for an entire week, since i seem to reach for that when i go into the fridge. I'm going to do what teach suggested and put some lemon into my water pitcher in the fridge, so that perhaps it will be more exciting than just normal water. I"m not even enjoying the sugar drinks that much, but they are there and thus i drink them
That's the problem with my fridge, it is either diet drinks (which i don't touch), milk (which isn't cooling) or lemonade/etc...so i'm going to fix that when i get home!

Isnt it strange how sometimes you just let go of one of your good habits (like water) and replace it w something not-so-good? Especially when you've been doing it for a long time & know it's not a big deal to you.
Well, good challenges ladies!
I ate well yesterday but I'm a meal behind in my diary, going to fix that now!

It is a strange behaviour Sarah..I find myself doing it all the time..whether it be with drink, chips or sweets.
I did a 5 mile BMX ride last night and boy did it work out my legs!! My bloke rode my mountain bike and I rode his Matt Hoffman BMX. One gear and lots of hills = 500 calories burnt yay!

Good start everybody!
I made myself a couple "lime waters" yesterday (few squirts of lime juice) and it was actually quite good..i think i will make the transition from sugar drinks to that fairly easily.

My goal:
Eat something for breakfast every morning...
=)
I guess we will see my food journal for my results!

How did we do on our challenge?
I achieved my no "lemonade/limeade" challenge quite nicely, mind you it wasn't a very difficult one
Shall we all make a new challenge?
