OK I will start with the food diary, I found this to be hugely important to me when I started out.
I still haev my little notebook from when I last did this so will endeavour to keep it up to date this week.

good job, Righ, going back to things you know work!
...and I did the same thing -- dug up my notebook I used LAST time I did the paper diet journal -- and had a little trip down memory lane before deciding to rip out all the old pages before starting anew. AND I wrote in the dates, one per page, for the next week!

Hey guys, it is making a difference to me. I'm settles between 1800-2000 cals a day now so I should see some movement this week - fingers crossed lol.
It is amazing how you can get caught snacking - I buy little packs of falafels and they sit in the fridge, I have found myself popping one everytime I pass it at about 50 cals a pop so I am gaining control of that now.
Im having very long days too at the minute so am finding myself getting hungry at night now which is a bit of a bummer but I feel like I am slowly regaining control and more importantly the will to move myself on

That's great, Righ. I hope it works well for you. I might even go back to keeping a food diary. :)
