Hi Everyone!
I am new to this forum due to a friend from another (not weight related).
She has done excellent and is an inspiration to others.

I have to admit, I signed up 06/21 and I was gungho about loosing weight. In a month I have only lost 5lbs. Not really motivating is it? So, I fell of the wagon, so to speak and had pizza last night.

I know its about changing your lifestyle, but that is so much easier said than done!

:lol: 5 pounds in a months is great. (That would be 60 pounds in a year btw) If you look at many of the posts on the forum you will realize it's the way to do it! Slow and steady wins the race. Also having pizza sometimes is just fine (maybe not the WHOLE pizza) but anything can be worked into your lifestyle in moderation especially if you also incorporate exercise. I think the key is to not let the wagon drag you too far back to the starting point. Actually I park my wagon every Sunday. Also the key to changing your lifestyle is to do it a little at a time (eat breakfast, cut out soda , drink more water etc)

I think you gave your 5lbs to me :angry: LOL cos I gained that much over the last month :grrrrrr: hehe :D

Really glad you could join us. Tell us more about yourself...how much are you trying to lose?

a pound a week is a good healthy start and is the way to go even if it does make the journey longer.
