I am currently watching flipper starring Paul Hogan and Elijah Wood with my kiddos... it is a 'cute' movie :lol:

I am in the middle of rewatching "The Langoliers"..based on the novel by Stephen King. It is a really excellent movie. :)

'The Wedding Singer' starring Adam Sandler & Drew Barrymore ... He's gonna party like it's 1985. Dance Party One of my all time favorites!

Its set aginst the background of big pharmaceutical companies in Africa - and although that sound dull and depressing, its really a lovestory between these two people who "stumble across each other".
Think Rachel Weisz won the oscar for it,and Fiennes is just heartbreaking ( made me check out a few more of his films ) its just a cracking, cracking film.
You should also check out The End of The Affair with Fiennes and Julianne Moore too, I really like him, he's just so complteely believeable.

i haven't seen that one, so i'll check it out and the other you mentioned!
i have a feeling this weekend will be spent mainly watching movies on tv, and not devouring the pile of papers i took home to "read"....maybe i'll "read" them by osmosis if they sit on my desk here... :lol:

1. stranger than fiction - not a will farrell fan. liked this movie a lot.
2. night at the museum - not a ben stiller fan. there were some funny moments, but all in all, it was still ben stiller being ben stiller over the top.
3. man of the year - robin williams fan. not what i expected. i liked this movie.

man of the year wasok, thought it wasn't sure what it wanted to be (drama or comedy)
haven't seen night at the museum yet. :)
