Welcome to Fit4Life Sunni!! It is good to have you!

Take your time, browse around and things will come easier to you as you learn... you *may* have a food diary, you *may* have an exercise diary, it is ALL up to you! Your weigh in day is up to you too! Whether you are a daily, or weekly or monthly type of weigh in person, it is all about YOUR choices, so feel free to personalize your own threads in any way you want!!

I hope the very best for you as you strive to live your life healthy!! :bouncy:

Welcome to the site sunni!

:huggs:

Most of us weigh in once a week, on a day of our choice. You can make a thread in the "weekly weigh in" section for your own weigh ins :)

A few of us do a daily food diary, which you can also join in on if you like...

We also have an exercise section where you can track your workouts, get advice about what you should be working on etc

There is a motivation section where we share what motivates us during this weight loss journey

There is a recipe section which we are adding to all the time and we share our favorite healthy recipies in...

We also have other slightly off topic sections...feel free to browse around!

There are no rules about how much you have to post, w here you have to post etc...just use this forum as you need it...everyone is quite supportive here :huggs:

Hi Sunni! Welcome! :huggs:

You can chose your own weigh in day...some on here have their weigh in on Wednesday so that the weight calms down if there have been food cheats or less exercise in the weekend.

It's up to you if you want to make your own food diary or exercise diary...just go to those sections of the forum. Some people find it helpful to write it all down.

Good luck with it all and if you have any more questions just ask :D

Thanks everyone! :fantastic:

I am really excited about this and it will be a long road. Not dieting just change of life step by step. Some days are better than others.

I appreciate all your quick responses already. I am amazed. Thank you so much.

Lime has told me how great this group is.

Hello and welcome, great to see you posting. I cannot wait to see your progress. I started off somewhere where you are, although I had 150+ pounds to lose. You can do it! :huggs:

sunni - September 3, 2007 07:46 PM (GMT)
THanks for the encouragement! I have lost up to 80 pounds and then it always finds me again, lol. I know what to do and always learning along the way. Just I get discouraged on all the weight I have to lose.
I always try to remember a pound is a pound and associate it with a pound of butter, lol. SO I am well buttered.

Just life is hectic, we bought a new house as did my daughter. My baby girl is making me a first time grandmom. Both my parents are very ill and I am their only care giver along with my children and best friend. But It is not excuse and never is. This has been life long and a change needs to be life long as well.

I find myself to tired or frustrated to eat correctly. Anything goes sometimes. Then other times I am so good. I just need to incorporate it all into a daily routine and a way of life.

I am hoping to stay on here and get thru the points I have not been able to get past. :grrrrrr:

Thanks everyone for your encouragement and support.

Teri

Welcome to the forum, Teri! Congratulations on being on your way to becoming a grandmother - you must be excited! You sound like you keep yourself pretty busy. Sometimes we get caught up with taking care of everyone else around us and don't find time for ourselves. I hope you find the right balance that works for you. Best of luck! :)
