I just noticed that aside from Teach and myself, everyone else has their email address available in their profile. If this is ok with you, i am certainly not saying that you need to hide it, but if you would like to hide your email address this is how you do it:

1. Click on "My controls"
2. On the menu at the left, look under "options" and click on email settings
3. This brings you to privacy settings, you can then click the box beside "hide my email address"

I had trouble figuring out how to do this at first so i thought others might as well!

I'm not sure where this topic should go so teach if you have a better place for it, feel free to move it.

Just a reminder, this board is public and open to anyone for membership. So, non members can view (read only) every thread and every profile, etc... so, it is good that Shy brought this to the forefront so that members can choose to hide their email addy's so that they cannot be harvested.

Hey guys, I have hidden member profiles and the photo thread from the general public view for our safety. The email thing goes through the board by private form, so our addresses cannot be harvested by spiders... but if you send a member an email than YOUR address shows to them in their inbox. ;)
