Well today lots of cleaning - getting ready for the treadmill. Bought it today, got it home. Unfortunately my hunny got his finger trapped in the hydrolics so now he has a doctor's appt - set-up postponed - we yet have to move it to the basement. We also have a leak in the basement and I smelled smoke earlier - I've been on edge the last couple of days (keep losing things...especially my mind TOM started today too)
TeachX3 - January 3, 2008 11:34 PM (GMT)
Oh my... :huggs: I am so sorry for all your troubles Nic... dang girl! :(
purrrple - January 4, 2008 07:07 AM (GMT)
Oh Nic! Hope your man's finger is ok! and your basement is ok! :huggs:
Yayy that you got a treadmill at home! We may have to have a bit of friendly competition once all is well and you have it setup :D

His finger's ok (needs to take some pain meds, he did a good job putting ice on it). In any case he still fixed the leak and set up the treadmall (MY HERO!!!) I tried out the treadmill last night on one of the Weightloss levels.
I can feel my legs this morning (I think the inclines did it). I think the Jittery/nervous feeling was partially from LACK of EXERCISE because I slept well last night and feel less anxious today.
Treadmill 30 min
TeachX3 - January 4, 2008 05:19 PM (GMT)
WOOOT!!! Awesome job Nic!! To the hero too!! (P/S: glad his finger is OK!)

NicC - January 4, 2008 08:43 PM (GMT)
Shy - I like to do intervals on it - at first it was weird at the gym - then when I stopped gym and went to other exercise I found I was missing the treadmill the most.
Next week's goal - starting Monday
Treadmill 3x
Pilates with resistance band (for strength/abs) 2x
Plus walking and if the snow melts enough take the bicycle for a spin (they are calling for +12 C next week)

Wow I am so glad things are turning out okay. I was a little afraid when I saw your link in the general forum. So glad your guy's finger is going to be alright - I pictured some bad things. Phew! Good job on getting a treadmill. I've always wanted one. Maybe someday. :)
Take good care of yourself and enjoy. You're doing great.

are you noticing changes in yourself due to your pilates workouts? i know when i was doing pilates i felt that i built up my core strength alot and felt like i was more flexible...it also had a great calming affect. I really think i should start going to those classes again.
