Sometimes motivation is easier to find then we might expect :happydance:

I was just thinking this morning on my walk to work that I am now the same size that i was when i started highschool (1995, i was 13 years old). I can remember buying new clothes for school and getting size 16 jeans and size large tops-which is my current size. I'm not sure what i weighed at that point as i wasn't keeping track. I have a feeling i weighed less then i do now, but i am more in shape and more toned now and thus able to wear a smaller size.

So i am the smallest i've been in 12 years, and that is definately something to celebrate!

How long has it been since you were the size you are currently? :)

Hey Shy that's fantastic. Another factor in your favor is that you've got shape now (as in curves), vs being a teeny-bopper without form. So yay! This weight and size you have now is far better than then in my estimation. :)

This is an awesome idea for a thread Shy! First, congrats to YOU girl, wow!

Ok, me... hhmmm... The last time I weighed 158 must of been about the year 1999. We had a homestead, with Milk Goats, Chickens & a Garden and I was very active taking care of it. But my goal of being between 135 to 140 pounds will be the same as I was 13 years ago before I got pregnant with my daughter, boy do I look forward to that! :D

Awesome Shy!!! You ROCK!!!

Ok I think I'm about the same size as I was when I started dating my dh almost 16 years ago. My lowest weight was 129 lb in grade 11 (the gym teacher thought I was anorexic so I do not think that is the right weight to aim for, also it only lasted about 10 min...) so I'm aiming for 145-147 which is the upper end of the healthy range which should be right for my frame/bone mass/muscle (my forearms and calves are solid...)

thank you teach, feather and nic! :)

teach and nic- wow! it is nice to put things in perspective sometimes i think :danceparty:

and nic- i would agree that it is best to aim for the high end of the healthy weight range..you can always evaluate and see how you feel. SInce you will have alot of lean muscle mass you will look lighter anyway :)
