Title: Starting over.....yet again!

Okay, so I used to be on another forum, then came to this one a long time ago (was this always the name of it?) and now my good friend Shy, has let me know that it is time to come back on!
I started back to the gym on Monday, January 28, 2008. Weighed in at 229.8 lbs :blush: I don't know when my weigh in day will be, I think Friday maybe, so I will weigh in again Friday morning.....
We'll see what happens.....

Thanks guys! You're awesome! So I weighed in on Friday.....and I'm at 222.8 lbs!!! I need to get into the "teens" now.....my goal is that I reach it by Monday, February 11, 2008.....I'll check in again on Friday, but my mini goal has been set!

I'm a chronic weigh-in person though, I weigh in at least once every day.....if I'm home on the weekends it could be multiple times......I know I should stay off the scales but I can't! It's like my addiction that has replaced my sitting on my fat ass all the time addiction LOL
Anyhow, I was up 1 lbs today....depressing, but I'm hoping it is just water retention from some of the crap I may have consumed on the weekend :blush:
I'm doing the gym thing first, and I'm hoping the eating thing will follow. I was never really good with the eating thing, and a very good friend of mine once said that eating is 90% of your battle, and that's how the weight will drop.........she was a definite advocate for exercise, but to her it was the same as breathing....she couldn't live without.........I long to be like that...........however currently I long to get my ass back into the ever elusive "ones"...........my goal is my birthday.....March 26th ladies and gents........I better make it!!

So I'm down a wee bit this week and I will take it!
JANUARY 28: 229.8 lbs
FEBRUARY 1: 222.8 lbs
FEBRUARY 8: 220.2 lbs
WEIGHT LOSS TO DATE: 9.6 lbs :happydance:
Obviously I'm greedy and wish I could have lost more.........but this works for now......I'm hoping to be in the "teens" by Monday......but weekends are super bad for me 'cause I'm out basically the whole weekend which means eating out :(
20.4 lbs will get me into the ones.....doesn't seem super unattainable but it will take me every single day until my birthday to take it off.....hoping I will :angel:

Thanks Shy! I guess you are right - but I want it to melt off of me lickity split! I have no patience! I think when I get a comment from someone asking me if I've lost some weight, I'll feel like I'm finally accomplishing something!!! Can't wait for the day :)

now i'm getting the "are you still going to the gym?" type comments...which is somewhat discouraging...i guess that means that i don't look any lighter! Time to get going again.

That's a horrible comment for someone to make! Some people just don't think before they speak! We all go through lulls I guess..........mine just last longer than others! You are doing great, and are always motivated and motivating.....thanks for getting me back on here

Hi Girl. Welcome Back! B) 11 lbs. in 10 days is GREAT. I'm super inpatient too, so I know the feeling. I think thats why I quit so much. But even if you only lose 1 pound a week, you will look better and better every week. This is something that I really need to keep in my head. :cheer:
