Title: Calendar!

shygemini - May 26, 2007 08:47 PM (GMT)
Did anyone else notice the calendar on this forum!

It is cool, it has everyone's birthdays on it, it will say "one member's birthday" then you click on it and it says who it is and how old they will be!

You can also add other events to it as well, pretty neat.

I don't know if this is possible or whether it would be useful, but is there anyway to personalize it? Could I schedule meals, exercise or goals? Maybe even a feature where you could make things public if you wanted? I would hope it wouldn't get too crowded if everyone kept it to big things.

I honestly do not know if the calendar is a "communal calendar", or if we add something, only the person that added it can see it.

Lets do an experiment.

I'm going to add something on may 27, if someone could let me know whether they see it as well, that would be great.

Ok nevermind that idea, apparently i am not able to alter the calendar. So i am guessing only the admin is able to, at least the way things are set up at the moment. :)

I believe all members have the ability to use the calendar. When you go to the page, there should be a link on the bottom left that says ' Add New Event ' ... also, you can choose at that time whether you want your entry to be private (just for your eyes) or public. So, yes! It should be a very useful tool for everyone!! :D

Let me know if you guys cannot access adding an event and I will look through the admin options again to see if I missed something! ;)

For me it's says I do not have permission to use this feature.

Yes, it says that for Shy too... UGH  It must be an InvisionFree hosting problem, because I have gone through the settings three times now and I do not see anything regarding the calendar... I am sorry everyone... I truly do not know what to do at this time.
