I have had multiple attempts this past couple of weeks of people trying to 'join' the board using a non existent email address. These people use fake email addresses and user names to try to gain access so that they can spam, or create havoc within our community. I will not allow such activity and I am getting weary of dealing with the individual situations. So, I am changing the new member sign up process. Now admin will manually preview all new accounts for people who want to be a member of this community. If there are any questions or concerns, please let me know...

Teach I think this is great. NO SPAMMERS. Hopefully they will quit trying after a while. :blush:

Today, one of the SPAMMERS got through... they used a working email addy, verified it and then posted SPAM. Our awesome MOD Shy, tackled the situation in a flash and spared us from the bothersome ignorance! :clap: THANKS SHY! :jumping:

The only thing that worries me is the amoutn of pleasure i got from deleting the spammers post lol! :lol: I have POWER! :lol: :blush:

Man oh man... I get an average of 3 registrations using nonactive email addresses a day now! As I am sure you all have noticed, we have had a few trolls get through and post their spam ads... it is great to have Purrrps on a different time zone than Shy, Nic and me and with us all working together, we hope to be able to keep them out'a here, but if not, we will just appoint more mods! :D
