Title: TeachX3's 3 Day Challenge
Description: April 28th through the 30th, 2008

TeachX3 - April 28, 2008 03:35 PM (GMT)

As of this morning, I am 155.0 and that is the same as last weeks weigh in, so I thought I would make a 3 day challenge for myself so that come Thursday, I will see a drop.

So for today, Tuesday and Wednesday my goal is:

* Green tea each day

* Limit bread intake

* Main staple of daily diet to be fruit & veggies

I sure hope to see a positive result due to this challenge. The past few days have not been the most keen on nutrition, they have been fun, but I can actually feel the sluggish and toxic results from my choices... I look forward to the clean eating and the way I will feel come this Thursday after weigh in!

LET THE CHALLENGE BEGIN!

looks like a good day to me!

ps i love that chipotle sauce , but my rule at subway is that i can only ask for the mustard as a sauce...the plain mustard that is 5 calories a squirt (or whatever)..this is also my rule at any other place where you make your own sandwich. Sigh! What i should try is leaving out the cheese and having a suace....i think you are right about not noticing if the cheese is missing. But i do like mustard. Ok i'm blabbing :lol:

TeachX3 - April 30, 2008 03:47 PM (GMT)

Thanks Shy! Oh YES that sauce was delicious!! That was the first time I have ever had it... I normally have nothing, or the light mayo or the vinegar and oil with spices or that other one that is super low in cals. I never put cheese on my sandwich... I love Pepper Jack cheese, so once in a blue moon, when I have a low cal day, I will have them add it and I am always so disappointed because I cannot taste it!

Well today I woke up feeling wonderful, so much so that first thing I did was stretches! :) My bowels were messed up all day yesterday... but I am fine now. I was SO craving protein, I could not wait to eat my LUNA bar!! Today I weigh in at 153.0 with 152.5 showing up periodically. OK, for anyone who knows, is this rapid weight loss normal? Over 2 pounds in two days scares me. Am I doing things correctly? ie... eating healthy enough, enough calories, etc... ? Is this actual fat loss or? Will the weight just come back? Thanks! I will post my food log at the end of the day.

i'm not an expert, but i don't think it is anything to be worried about. I f you are consistently losing 1lb each day for say a month, maybe i'd be worried. This is likely just due to the changes you made in your diet. I think at first our changes make a big difference in our weight until it levels off later on, if that makes sense.

Great job!

Thank you Shy :huggs:

Black Coffee & LUNA Bar

Oatmeal w/ Peanut Butter, 1 Wheat Bread w/ Honey, Banana Chips & Milk

Large Salad: Lettuce, Cheese, Tomato, Onion & Whole Grain Crackers... Green Tea, ACTIVIA Strawberry Yogurt

4 Bud Light Beers, Salad, 2 Burgers on Buns, Baked Beans, Bugles ... not that good for my challenge, but life happens and I love life!

Multi-Vitamin: Yes
Liters of Water: 1+
My 3 Daily Goals: Yes-Yes-Yes
1. Eat breakfast within 1 hour of waking
2. Drink at least one glass of plain Green Tea

Well my challenge is complete. I am happy to report my weigh in at 154.0 this morning. Last nights fun has caused a gain... however this challenge has been a success, at least I proved to myself that I *can* see a number lower than 155! :lol: Now my goal is to just continue on living as clean as I can, while still enjoying some fun every now and again... and to maintain this one pound loss, with the intention of losing more!

I know that if I were to do more in the structured exercise department I could drop the weight quicker... but with the Multiple Sclerosis, it has not been an option for quite some time. So, I do my best at moving my body as much as I can and I concentrate on eating clean. But I gotta say, sometimes I just need to enjoy things that may not be the best choice... to me, it puts the sparkle in life, when one can truly appreciate the little things. I hate excuses, so I do not let the MS be an easy out for me, nor TOM, or any other thing. I make my own decisions and for each one I am held accountable, no matter what stage of life I am in or what situation I am going through...
