Title: Hangman

shygemini - May 7, 2008 07:17 PM (GMT)
i am playing hangman here and enjoying it!

however, i find it difficult to guess the words when sometimes 3-4 letters are not showing. For instance :

I had one round where the correct guess was: HUSBANDM

I'm thinking what is that? SO i went to the definition and it was for HUSBANDMAN

THen i had another for FORFEITU

Which when i went to the definition was for FORFEITURE

Anyone else having this issue? Can we fix it somehow?

No issue on my end. It seems most issues with viewing are with you Shy (no offense here LOL) but it seems your monitor or something is different than most... Like with size of board, scrolling, the fruit bar when I had it in the left column, etc... I have the hangman set up to 'float' which means it changes size depending on each individuals resolution, so I do not know why you are having a problem... is anyone else?

When I resize my window to quite small (but large enough where I do not have the scroll bar) the size of the hangman changes just as well as all other portions of the forum, however, I do not see all available spaces for guesses on the word. So it has something to do with your resolution / screen size / type of monitor / computer / or something. Sorry, but that can only be fixed on your end and that stinks, 'cause it must be hard guessing a word without all the available spaces!! :(

Oh, i wasn't thinking about it that way. I just realized...for both those examples, the extra letters/spaces WERE there , i just couldn't see them. I thought they were not there at all. I got confused as i won both times.

HOwever the missing letters in both cases were also present at other places in the word so that makes sense :)
