Wow, you do alot!! Awesome job NicC :D I hear toning balls are difficult! (?)
NicC - June 7, 2007 10:03 PM (GMT)
June 6 - cycling (25 min), gardening/yardwork (about 60 min), walking
June 7 - cycling (60 min), gardening (only about 15 min)
Cherriterri - I do like the Pilates DVDs (never tried a class). Usually my friend comes and does it with me once a week but she had to work. I still did it anyways though
Teach - the toning balls were the small 2lbish ones, so not too heavy. Still could feel it the next day though
shygemini - June 7, 2007 11:56 PM (GMT)
you are doing wonderful nic!
i love pilates, i ought to start doing it again...it really helps with core strength and posture..
i am wondering what a toning ball is?
NicC - June 8, 2007 02:52 AM (GMT)
The toning balls are fairly small just slightly bigger than a baseball (mine came free in Vector/Special K cereal box last year and you fill them with water). I've also seen them at Winners with sand or something already in them. Basically they are used like a small handweight.
TeachX3 - June 8, 2007 03:47 AM (GMT)
 <--- I know you love this guy :D You are doing great NicC!! WOOOT!
NicC - June 8, 2007 04:18 PM (GMT)

NicC - June 11, 2007 12:43 AM (GMT)
Jun 8 - cycling (10 min), walking, helping friend with garage sale stuff
Jun 9 - volunteered (so cutting buns, transporting garbage bags of buns, dragging around table cloths, shopping and stapling, lol)
Jun 10 - Church Picnic - carried boxes, tug-of-war, bossed people around, handed out gifts, carried my food plate...
Ok so there really wasn't "exercise". Very very lame the last couple of days
TeachX3 - June 11, 2007 01:02 AM (GMT)

Do you cycle on a stationary bike or outdoors? Good day for you today NicC! :D
NicC - June 13, 2007 03:27 AM (GMT)
I usually cycle outdoors (often pulling bicycle trailer with up to 150lbs of kids, lol). I will do some indoors in the fall/winter when I go back to the gym. It's been hot outside so I haven't done my walk/run for a while. :( Cycling is nicer when it's hot than running.
NicC - June 14, 2007 02:34 AM (GMT)
June 13 - cycling about 40 min (different route for 30 min, challenging but no kids in trailer), tricep dips at park bench (10), push-ups at park bench (5?), weeding (45 min. ish)
TeachX3 - June 14, 2007 03:32 AM (GMT)
Wow girl, you must be SOLID with all the cycling/running you do! WOOOT!! :bouncy:
NicC - June 14, 2007 10:24 PM (GMT)
LOL Teach - I wish, still have lotsa flab covering the muscles! I definitely don't do enough running (still haven't made it around my "circuit" and haven't done the walk/run for about 2 weeks). Do love the cycling though.
