I got this from someone at another board and wanted to share
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup egg whites
1 cup cottage cheese
optional:
1 scoop whey
1 tsp almond extract
blend ingredients until smooth, cook in a waffle maker. Freezes well if you make extra, and you can just pop them in the toaster when taken out of the freezer.
TASTES EXACTLY LIKE WAFFLES!

That sounds good. I imagine they have a nice texture too.

I'm going to try those...will let you know how they turn out when I get all the stuff for them.

I read super fast and somehow read the 1 scoop whey as 1 scoop whiskey!
Those sound good. Thanks for the recipe!

Yeah those do sound good. Thanks for sharing the recipe :) Is whey available at normal supermarkets, or just health food stores? I've never come across it before.

Sounds great! I like making waffles in big batches and freezing. Sounds like a great healthy alternative!
