1. I don't read a lot of magazines but I do enjoy Self. I also like to look thru the pics/captions in People. 2. I love to have painted nails. I wear a lot of neutral colors but also like berries and wines..(not just polish--I really do like berries and wines!!!  3. Today I took my daughter and a friend to KungFu Panda. It was cute. I know my daughter is going to want to see Kit Kittredge (American Girl movie) when it comes out in July because she has that doll and look like her---minus the freckles! I would like to see "You don't Mess With The Zohan because I think Adam Sandler is so funny. 4. The craziest thing we ever had is a turtle named "Scratchy" ...I don't think he was too exotic, though. My last vacation was in Florida: The best part was seeing the ocean again, the worst part was getting in a fight with my mother.

My last vacation was to Edmonton at Christmas time. It was great because it was the first time both of my siblings and myself with all their children were in the same room in about 7 years! The worst part was the drive there. I drove through really scary snow storms and the drive that usually takes me about 13 hours took 17. It was worth it though. |

My last "vacation" was to Ohio to the Pokemon Nationals. I ran around non stop taking care of my kids needs... that is both the best and the worst part of it. |

My last vacation was a cruise to Mexico...The best part about it was laying in the sun reading a book. The worst part was watching my sister throw herself at a guy she met and stalk him on the boat the entire time.  oh well, she'll learn eventually

My last vacation was this weekend away in Champagne (full story in my blog). Best part was the romantic time w my hubby, next best was the amazing food and champagne, and the worst was the service at dinner the first night (different restaurant than the fabulous one). |

1. Jewellery: I never leave the house without earrings on. I rarely wear rings except maybe when I dress up – they’re not practical when I’m writing all day. I usually wear my white gold diamond earrings and cross (gifts from my parents), or matching accessories with my outfit (long necklaces / bangles / earrings). Do glasses count? Mine are dark brown librarian-type frames. 2. Clothes: I’m currently in my pj’s, lol. Winter’s here so I’m in a long-sleeved top and pants. The top has a chick and “What a wonderful morning” on the front. I enjoy dressing up when I leave the house. 3. Makeup: This ranges from none to full makeup, depending on how I feel and where I’m going. When I’m in a hurry I put on some compact foundation/pressed powder, mascara, lipstick, and maybe lip gloss, eyeshadow, or eye kohl if I have a bit more time. If I’m going somewhere special, it’ll be: foundation, powder, concealer, bronzer/blush, eyeshadow in several shades, kohl/eyeliner, mascara, lip definer, lipstick, and lip gloss. I love experimenting with different looks. 4. Magazines: I enjoy reading Reader’s Digest, the Australian Women’s Weekly, and cooking magazines. I used to read New Scientist regularly, not anymore though. 5. Nailpolish: I have stubby fingers and short nails, so I rarely paint my fingernails unless if it’s clear. I do paint my toenails though, especially in the summer. Right now I have a glossy dark burgundy colour on, and before that they were hot pink, lol. Nude colours are nice, too. 6. Movies: I’m going through final exams these days and am not up-to-date with new movies. 7. Exotic pets: I don’t have any pets at the moment - not thinking of getting any either - but we once had 2 tortoises, 2 Fisher’s lovebirds, and a cockatiel (not all at once). I’ve never had a cat or dog but I think I’m more of a “dog” person. Goldfish are cute. 8. Last vacation: Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt and Dubai, UAE last December. I’ve been to Dubai many times before (used to live there) but it was my first time going to Sharm El Sheikh. Loved it! I got to go snorkelling in the Red Sea. My next holiday will be to Canada in 2 weeks' time. I can't wait! |

Where are you going to in Canada??? My last vacation was hm staying at my parents tiny cottage near Bracebridge, Ontario. Going tent-camping for a couple of days early July and we are hoping to go to North Carolina later in the summer...Teach I totally understand about the "kid" vacations... |

I have two... Spiritually, it is Christ Jesus. He is my Lord and Savior and my Best Friend... and on earth, it is my Husband... the man is a precious gift to my heart and encompasses every aspect of a best friend. |

P2O and Teach I really love your answers. Can't top those and agree with both, but would like to add one My best female friend - she's been my best friend for over 10 years - we met when our oldest 2 were in a preschool program at the community center, over the years we've added some other friends as well so we now have an extended group as well. As for vacation: I'd love to travel around the world. I have a long list of places to see. Top of my list is a Mission trip to the D.R. of Congo where a Pastor friend of mine is from. Other than that my life time to see list has the following places: Australia, New Zealand, Israel/Jerusalem, Costa Rica, North Carolina (hopefully this summer), California, trip from Ontario across Canada to the West Coast (have been to the East Coast except Newfoundland which is also on my to do list), Paris (France), Egypt, South Africa, Colorado, visit my friend while she is still in Mexico, Italy, Greece, Hawaii, Hong Kong (where dh is from) & China, Brazil (where another friend is from) and a zillion other places including visiting family in Germany again...as you can see Nic has ants in her pants... anyone want to invite me to give me a place to visit??? |

Nic, COME ON OVER!! I can show you ST. LOUIS... and we would have a blast!!! (but I fear we would not eat very healthy while you were here )I want to go back to JAMAICA ... desperately! My dream vacation would be to go to England and visit old castles, english rose gardens and have tea. I'm a princess at heart. Also I want to go camping in the grand canyon, hike all day and camp wherever we find, like in western books. |

Last vacation: I went to moose jaw, saskatchewan with my bf in may.. Best part- spending time with him, the spa pool...it was so amazing and relaxing! Worst part- I felt pretty sick on the bus ride down there.. Best friend: My boyfriend is definitely my best friend..we share everything and get along so well This is why i'm quite sure things will work out well with us Dream vacation: FIJI i've wanted to go there for ages. I also really really want to go driving across canada..and i want to travel through europe and go to turkey..also i want to go to new zealand. |

Teach, I have thought about this question alot. #1. To already be at goal weight (141lbs.) and be totally happy with my body. #2. To spend more time with my husband (work and school get in the way) #3. To be sixteen again-One of the best years of my life. (I met and married my husband at sixteen)

My favorite choldhood memory is friday night at home. My mom was a single mother and worked all the time, on friday nights she would order pizza, make a veggie tray, and a bunch of other snacks and we all would watch TGIF on ABC, Full House, Family Matters...It was great.  In five years I will be 29 and I hope to be the VP of my own Accounting Firm and my husband will be President. We our working really hard to make this happen. In ten years I will be 34 and I hope to be traveling. |

My 3 wishes: 1. For my mother's back to get better, and that she won't need surgery 2. For there never again to be a world war 3. For me and my boyfriend to have a wonderful life together, and a beautiful wedding (when the time comes!) ......... Favorite memory: Road trips with my family. We would wake up super early and i'd have the backseat of the van...i would lay on the seat and have a couple baskets of books/activities to keep myself occupied, and we would always bring a cooler with food for lunch and snacks and stop along the way to have a little picnic type thing It was alot of fun, and i miss doing that. I plan to do this with my own kids in the future.In five years: I'll be...um...31 i guess LOL...and i hope to have a fantastic job as a dietitian, be married, and maybe even have a child by then! Alot to happen in 5 years but i think it is likely! In ten years: I"ll be 36, i suspect i may have 2 children by this point, and i hope to be well established and happy in my job, and to have had some time to do alot of travelling. And this may sound somewhat sad but i really hope my parents are both still around 10 years from now.
