Hello to you all;
I am new here and i was somehow attracted by the title , i am not sure if you follow the Fit for life diet , or this forum is called Fit for life?
I started that diet and have been on it , 4, 5 times with really great success. Still the two years here in Canada and my bad habits have made me put on weight, that was really hard to maintain and get off,
When i came i was 150, (which isn;t skinny) and now i am 160 pound,s 162 cm high and 42 years , female.

I would like to know, what you suggets is the best way to loes weight and do you agree or disagree with the above diet as i have been using it a lot, but it really should be maintained.

Hi Jackie - nice to meet you! I don't know if anyone here follows that particular diet but we all believe in following a healthy lifestyle with a well balanced meal plan (I hesitate to use diet because the term is associated with short term changes not a whole life attitude) and plenty of exercise (depending on your ability and current health level). Why don't you tell us a little more about the diet you have been following?
1.5 lbs a week will get me to my goal weight by Jan 1 next year!!!

Hi Jackie and welcome to F4LF! We are a peer support group, our name is Fit 4 Life Friends forum and we are in no way affiliated with any diet or program. Many of us just try to eat healthy, full rounded & nutritional while striving to exercise our bodies daily to either lose weight, maintain a healthful weight or just to live a healthy lifestyle! Some members here may follow specific diets... such as Weight Watchers or such, but we, as a forum, do not promote any specific ones. We do not support low calorie diets, quick fix diets, or anything that is detrimental to ones good health. I hope I explained well enough what we are all about! :D NOW... welcome and nice to meet you! Take your time and look around and please feel free to jump in anywhere, join in on current convo's or start your own threads, etc... We always welcome new members (friends)!

Welcome to the forum!

I do not know about the "fit for life" diet. I will read up on it so that i can give you a more informed opinion!

I will echo what teach said that we do not promote any specific diet here. As long as you are living a healthy lifestyle, trying to eat well and exercise, that is the important thing!

Welcome and looking forward to getting to know you!
