Last night I had a very stressful shift. I was happy with myself though, usually when things are stressful my coping mechanism has been comfort foods. Last night I did not turn to food, rather I took 15 mins off the floor and went for a walk outside. Luckily I was working with very supportive people who were willing to cover for me while I went out for that time. I felt so much better afterwards and so much less sressed!! Now I know that a litle walk like that is so effective I am going to try to do that when things get stressful.

That's great, Cherri! You're lucky your coworkers didn't mind covering for you.
