We just got back from our vacation in North Carolina. The beach was great! We also went to Hershey Park in Pennsylvania on the trip home. Wahoo! Lots of exercise but the eating was very very naughty, especially the southern food. However it made me discover that I don't like fried food nearly as much as I thought (battered seafood especially does not appeal to me) - I did like the pulled chicken and pork though and will try to find some healthy ways to make it. I will really miss the ocean air!!! My six year old went on her first loop de loop ride, got over her fear of: jelly fish, spiders and sharks and alligators (within reason). My 14 yr old made sure dh and I don't get old before our time and took us on all the big rides. My 11 yr old son had a great time too especially going on a big battleship. I'm a little sad it's over already...next week it's back to school. By the way the start of the fall challenge will be my weigh in day.

Welcome back!

I love pulled meats! Yum! I think they are healthy in themselves, but the sauce is what makes them so bad! You could make lettuce wraps with pulled pork and some homemade sauce and coleslaw, that would be quite healthy!
