If anyone has been reading my fall challenge walk blog...you know I have been recently searching for a new walk partner. & here is the good news...I have adopted a 3mo. lab mix puppy from the local animal shelter to be my new walk partner. A rescue dog. I will be picking her up tomorrow (Monday) morning. I am so very excited!! More on my blog. Also, I am wondering, when it comes to exercise or just stress reduction for a healthy life, do any of you have your own personal buddies?

I am so happy you found your new partner to love and be healthy with!! ![]() My home is filled with furry loved ones... two outdoor dogs, three indoor dogs and a cat (and the leopard gecko LOL) My 'puppies' are 7 months old now, they are a mix of Lab, Chow and German Sheppard... they are so precious to my heart! There are a few threads around here with the history of them and photos. I plan to take a new photo of them soon... I just have not gotten in gear and done it! LOL |

NicC & TeachX3 I just knew you two were animal lovers too! Well, I picked my puppy up today & stopped & had her vet checked as well. I have named her Gracie. We have bonded so well already. We went for a trial run this afternoon on leash & she is a fantastic walking partner. I will take some pictures soon & post.
