WOW.. what an awesome way to keep track! Well, guess I will join in and set mine up...

My personal trainer at the hospital gave me a great list of work-out plans.. I just got started doing step-aerobics on my own, which has been alot of fun!

Leg Press 130lbs 2 sets of 20, 2 times
Calf Curls 130lbs 2 sets of 20, 2 times
Thigh/Calf Press 100lbs, 2 sets of 20, 2 times

Ab Crunches on the Exercise Ball 2 sets of 20
Squat Crunches w/Exercise Ball 2 sets of 20

Lateral Pull Down 50lbs, 2 sets of 25, 2 times
Bicep Pull/Extension 50lbs, 2 sets of 25, 2 times
Tricep Press 80lbs, 2 sets of 20, 2 times
Lateral Bicep Lifts 50lbs, 2 sets of 20, 2 times

Elliptical 30 minutes (can be broken into sessions)
Step Aerobics 30 minutes minimum (been doing 45)

I alternate upper body/cardio with lower body/cardio every other day. Ive been going to the gym at minimum, three times per week, will try to work in a fourth session as my schedule eases up a bit.

Sunday September 21st: Did 5 minute warm up on elliptical, 30 minutes step aerobics, worked all lower body exercises, did 5 minute stretching, did nice long walk to my car to finish the stretches

Monday September 22nd: Did 10 minutes warm up on elliptical, 10 minute on air-stepper (my butt feels like someone grabbed it with a metal clamp and tightened it all the way! UGH!)...

Did 30 minutes step aerobics, worked upperbody.

Will take Tuesday off to rest and recouperate.. will be back on Wednesday

Wednesday September 24th: Planning on going to the gym tonight around 7:30pm. Will do a warm up of cardio and a small dose of lower body exercises... once the workout room is emptied, I will go in there and do my step-aerobics... :happydance:
this definitely gets the heart pumping for sure! :valentines:

Will post an after-workout post

 ARGH!!!!!!

There was a trainer in the group-room running 45 minutes behind in his Stability-Ball class. I had booked the room for 8pm to do my step-aerobics and couldnt do it!!!

I kept it cool, asked him nicely about how much longer it would be as I had reserved the room for 8pm.. he told me to 'get steppin' elsewhere'

He had ALREADY giving me lip on Monday over nothing, I looked at him tonight and said "Look mister, I have been nice to you, been patient to you, even when you bit my *** Monday night, I dont appreciate you being a jerk to me, nor will I put up with it. Youre 45 minutes behind and this Gym has STRICT RULES about tying up the room when the room has been reserved for the next party!!!

Well, Security got called down... he was yelling at me the entire time... I had witnesses proving he was being a jerk... He was escorted off the property!!!

So... I ended up doing a larger workout to compensate.. I did all my upper body, plus Leg press/Calf Press. Did Elliptical (ugh, I hate them!) and of course the warm-ups/cool down sessions... I still walked out of there with my heart rate up so I know I still did a great workout.. :bouncy:

Good for you for standing up for yourself - sounds like the trainer had a little too much testosterone (cough *** steroids***).

Monday September 29th: After a long weekend of having the flu and not being able to go to the Gym, Im heading there tonight!

Will get in some cardio (perhaps step-master this time) will do upper body. If the classes get out on time, maybe I will sneak in some step-aerobics?!

MADE It!!!

Gym room was packed so no step-aerobics tonight, but I got a message from the Gym Coordinator saying that there is only one class tomorrow, then by 6pm, its all mine!!!! So, I played it safe, I booked it for 2 hours...

So, tonight, I did 15 minutes on the Elliptical (WOW what a sweat), did all the lower body exercises and managed to squeeze in a few upper.

Oh..

Note to Self: Must bring air freshners... the male doctors felt the need to break wind every time they moved... must have been Walking-Farts Syndrome... UGH!!

Tuesday September 30th:

(WOW, tomorrow is October!)

Tonight, I aim to go back to the Gym. Am thinking perhaps my cardio to warm up, and then off to the group room to get a good step-aerobics workout. I like to add small weights from time to time to get the heart rate up, and BOY does it work!

Will take Wednesday off to recouperate and go back Thursday!

I did it! Kept the promise to myself... did a brief elliptical warm up to get the heart goin'..

Went into the group room, NO issues in there waiting for me.. just my dance music, my step-board, big bottle of fresh water and some awesome steppin'!!!

Walked out of there and did a good 50-60 minute step-aerobics workout and couldnt wait to come home to shower..

It feels so good... and Im feeling physical changes...

Fantastic Alexandretta! Ooh I love the rowing machine. I have to get back on my treadmill! (probably when this session of aquafit finishes as I don't like the water much in the Winter)

ACK... Was stuck home Tuesday night... My poor kid got hit with an Upper Respiratory Infection from hell. I decided to stay home to make sure she was ok. I know she would have been fine on her own but, hey, when the kids are sick, you want to be around in case they need you.

Will definitely make it tonight.
