Saturday, Jan 3: 45 min sculpt class, 15 min abs. Heart rate average high 150s, highest in the high 180s.

My exercise plan:

Monday- Rest day
Tuesday- Sculpt class at lunch
Wednesday- Step class at lunch
Thursday- rest day likely
Friday- Sculpt class at lunch
Saturday- Spin class
Sunday- Unstructured cardio (i.e machines?) or walking once it stops being freezing outside :P

I am a little unsure what to do given the fitness schedule. So we will try this for now and see what happens. My thought process is that if i plan to go to the gym when i am already on campus (where the gym is) i am more likely to go than if i plan to go in the late afternoon/evening when i am at home, and have to make supper etc. It is what i used to do but it won't really work anymore!

Thank you joyful!

Today i was still super sore from my sculpt class on friday (my triceps are killing me!). BUT i made myself go to the gym.

45 minute spin class

It was really good, since i went to a spin class at the beginning of jan and it just about killed me...i felt much better this time.

Thanks gals!

I've been really sick since monday. I really wanted to go to the gym tuesday but just wasn't up to it.

Went to the gym today for a Step Aerobics class, it was cancelled.

So i went to a 45 minute Middle Management class. i guess i got somewhat of a workout but don't feel like i worked really hard. It was really an advanced class and i couldn't do most of the stuff.

thanks teach!

i am better but not great. Monday and tuesday i could barely move and felt dizzy whenever walking. But i took it easy and slept alot so i think i escaped the worst of it. I also had a horrid sore throat, which is still there but much better today.

I think i'll try to get to the gym tommorow at lunch again for boxercise :bouncy:

it *is* very intense!

it is strange when i exercise. I know how i used to exercise, and i can't do it anymore. so i think i end up pushing myself more than i ever used to...and burn more calories that way!

i am super sad because i felt too sick today to go to my sculpt class with my friend :( But i hardly slept and i'm coughin up stuff and generally not feeling great so i thought i should stay home.

I will be cleaning the house today though as the in laws are coming to stay tommorow

Have fun with your inlaws girl ... just remember to make exaggerated movements while cleaning your home, stretch, bounce, even jog in place while doing the chores... it helps! :D

Teach- I won't hardly even get to see them :( I have a course (Food safety I) i have to take literally all day saturday (8:30-5pm), then on sunday i have a tutorial for my exam on tuesday (which i haven't really studied for yet due to being sick). Sigh.

Nic- Thank you! I am trying! I took another nap this afternoon. I hope to be feeling better by tommorow since i am stuck out of the house all day......

I am beyond frustrated. I am STILL sick. Even if i start laughing too much i go into a coughing fit :( This is coming up on two weeks of being sick. yes, i am much better but the nagging cough just isn't going away.

I am aching to get back to the gym and work out hard but I am afraid to do so until my cough is totally gone, as I think exerting myself will just bring on big problems.

In addition, this week TOM came along, which didn't help anything! I am going back to the gym next week (i hope).

Staying in the house all day and not exercising also makes it hard to avoid eating badly. Sigh. I have so much motivation right now but i am just not able to exercise. So i am trying to fix my eating which is all i can do at the moment. I had a better breakfast today although i still had two cookies (but now the cookies are gone!). I am going to make some banana pancakes for lunch and just really try to keep strong with the diet.

Shy, that cough sounds really frustrating!! Is it possible for you to do some very light exercise without having a coughing fit?
