Hi! I am joining this forum in a last ditch effort to lose and maintain the weight loss. Just looking for support, tips etc...
I am attaching a 'before' pictures. (Or, as I like to call it, a 'OMG! That can't be me!' pictures) in hopes that I will have an 'after' pictures to accompany them in the near future!

Welcome Marnisue :wave: Nice to meet you....I viewed your photos...I think we are similar in size.(and you are very cute too) 8) My goal right now, besides eating healthy & exercising, is to lose 20 lb. by 4/24/09...so far 2 down & 18 to go... ;) What are your goals?

OK...I am reporting in after 6 months of ups and downs! (My weight AND computer! LOL!)

My starting weight in the pictures I posted in January was 208 lbs.
Attached is a picture taken on March 16th at 198 lbs.(10 lb lost!) I plan to post a picture every 10 lbs lost. :happydance:

Today I weigh 192.4! My goal is 170. (I am 5'8")

I've been watching portions and basically just trying to follow the food pyramid. Just trying to make healthier choices...you know...instead of the chocolate cake, grab a piece of fruit. :eathealthy:
I sometimes have 2 veggies at meal time to fill up so I won't be tempted to 'snack' (my personal weakness) later! Oh, and I also drink lots of water.
Exercize is something I need to incorporate more daily. I sit at a desk all day, then I get home and prepare supper then clean up. After that-I'm exhausted! A co-worker and I started walking after lunch a couple of weeks ago. Of coarse, it's been raining quite a bit so we've only been able to do it a few times.

Looking good Marnisue! :clap: Exercise is great too. I have been trying to walk every day also. Rain..Rain..Rain.. I know what you are fighting. But hang in there. We (my husband and I) have been walking for the last two days (I know not very long), but have just started back with working on my weight. After being sick, I was kind of embarrased to come back here because I had not kept up. (Thanks Teach) But I am trying again. So, we go whenever the rain quits.. LOL :)

I hit my 20 lb lost mark TODAY! Whoop! :bouncy: I am so excited and motivated!!!
Maybe I will wear a bathing suit before summers' end after all! :summer:

Been really hitting the fruits and veggies, taking a daily vitamin and drinking water instead of pop. Now, I have to focus on more aggressive exercising!
