Ok, new exercise journal for 2009. I tried to not keep track of my exercise to see if that would make a difference as to how it feels. I thought that if I just did it and acted like it was no big deal and the same as taking a daily shower it would be easier to keep doing it. Well, that does kind of work so I am still going to keep telling myself that but at the same time it is still an accomplishment so I think I will start to keep track of it again.

My long term goal will be to walk on the treadmill or ride the bike for 1000 kms by my birthday in July.

I think I also may go back to my weekly goal setting.

4 kms on the treadmill

5 kms on the exercise bike. There are sure some muscles that are not happy with me right now for adding this to my workout routine but they will just have to get used to it!

Took it a bit slow today. 8 kms on the bike and 2 kms on the mill. I feel a bit stiff from yesterday but it still feels good to get the muscles moving!

Usually I take Sundays off to rest but today I was itching to do something. So, 15 slow kms on the exercise bike. I think this is OK since my Wednesday is going to be crazy busy and I will not have time for exercise.

Thanks!! I think I may start making weekly goals again just because my work schedule is so wonky that I have to think ahead to get enough exercise in!
