Today I took it a bit easier.

10 kms on the bike
2 kms on the mill
crunches for abs

Something I noticed today when I was doing crunches is that I can feel my abs much more. It feels like I am more able to isolate my abs when I am working on them. Does anybody know if this is a good thing? Does this mean that I am really working my abs?

Today I did 2 kms on the mill and 16 on the bike. I am taking it easy on the mill because of the new shoes and it is taking me a bit to get used to them. They are super comfortable they just hold my feet slightly differently.

weights for arms
crunches for abs

Also, I am still working on taking down the plaster wall in the second bedroom and did that for about 45 mins. Tiring!!

Oh boy. I have done pretty much no exercise for about 2 weeks now!! It has been crazy busy with it being the end of the semester and getting my student's final evaluations done and then to top it off I got sick!!

The next couple of days are going to be busy as well but i am going to try to get some exercise in. I am for sure going to be back at it on Monday though!!

wow, it has been a whole month since I last posted and I still have not really done much exercise wise.

Today I did walk about 2 kms with a friend. It was a slow 2 k but nice to visit with my friend.

I am going to start posting weekly goals again because that really has helped me in the past and I am so happy that I can walk outside again!! There are 2 reasons I need to get back into doing this now. I know they are kind of superficial but I will take whatever works at this point.

1. I signed up for a 10km walk at the end of June and I really want to be able to finish it.

2. I bought a dress for my birthday and I cannot fit into it anymore so I need to lose about 10 lbs or so in order to fit into it for my birthday in July.

Today I walked 5 kms outside!! It was a little tough at first because I tried to get going too fast and I ended up with shin splints for the first half. They did subside though and the second half of the walk I felt great!

So, my goals for the week starting tomorrow.

Cardio - 6 times, a minimum of 45 mins each time
Pilates - 2 times
weights for arms - 3 times

Thanks Nic!

So far today I have gone for a slow 3 km walk looking at snakes in Narcisse. It's pretty cool there with thousands of garter snakes mating!!

I am considering going for another bit of a walk though since that was kind of a nice slow stroll.

So cardio this week 1 of 6

So last week I did not meet my goals. I really have to figure out a way to fit some exercise in when I am working long night shifts. There is no place at work for me to work out at night unless I walk outside and I am not all that sure I want to do that at 3 in the morning. Hmmm...

For this week.

Since It is Tuesday already.

Cardio 5 times
weights 3 times
pilated once.

Hey Nic, I have searched and this is what I have found so far... I am not too fond of it, it is a bit small compared to our others and it looks a bit mean LOL but it will have to do until I find something better ;)
