 Hi Mom, That is the super thin pizza crust with nothing but cheese on it (no sauce, etc...) lots less calories with out all that thick bread! :D

Today

Green Tea Coffee & Granola Bar

Oats w/ Peanut Butter, a splash of Milk & Honey

Chef Salad w/ Low Fat/Cal Dressing & 6 Chicken Fries (like strips but much smaller and thinner)

:bouncy: I AM SO HAPPY!!! I stayed under my calorie intake today! This is the FIRST day in a long while I have accomplished that!

Happy Father's Day!

Green Tea Coffee & Granola Bar

Bagel w/ Cream Cheese & Milk

Activia Yogurt & Peanut Butter

2 small Glazed Donuts

... tonight's dinner will be had at Applebee's... I *plan* to eat off the Weight Watchers menu ;) EDIT: which I did not  I had some kind of Wrap and French Fries (which was all loaded with sodium, 'cause I can't get enough water) Lots of food, I'm stuffed and uncomfortable. Sad thing is, I'm beat. So I'm headed to bed on this full stomach. I'm telling ya, this new Summer Challenge can't start soon enough, I just have to counter act all my food choices with some good old fashioned sweating my butt off! :D

Light bulb clicked ON this morning. It took me a very long time of daily struggling to reach 142 pounds and I maintained around that weight up until a about a month ago. This morning, I am 144 pounds... down only one pound since I started daily exercising. I truly thought that the exercise would be my *magic formula* and POOF I would be back down to the 142 area. This morning, I was mad. I was thinking thoughts such as "ugh, here it is Friday, a 'bad food day' and I am not any lighter" and "What am I going to do? Saturday and Sunday are the next two days and I will probably be back up to the 145 mark" and "I'll be going to Chicago next weeked, how am I going to not gain", etc... as well as many other similar thoughts, thoughts of taking "OFF" from the daily struggle of my heatlhy lifestyle. Then the light bulb turned on. Well DUH, if I continue on eating as I have been eating... mcdonalds burgers, italian sausage, etc... those meats (as well as other foods) with ALL THAT FAT, I am not going to lose weight. The *magic formula* does not exist. The ONLY WAY I AM GOING TO LOSE WEIGHT IS TO EVERY DAY EAT FRUITS AND VEGGIES AND OTHER HEALTHY CHOICES (EVEN WHEN OUT AND ABOUT), DRINK MY WATER AND EXERCISE. It is like I started to exercise so I started to eat worse. Ummm DUH it does NOT work that way!!! Most of this is probably common sense to most of you... I think I was just trying to 'get away' with not working hard. This lifestyle is a daily struggle and sometimes I get tired and I think because I entered the exercise challenge I reasoned within myself that I could let my food choices slack. HAHAHAHAHHA. It has gotten me no where. I have to continue to daily fight myself to EAT HEALTHY AND EXERCISE and I need to totally REMOVE these thoughts in my head that I can have a weekend or a day or two of bad choices every week. Because THAT is what is sabotaging me. Ok, my rant is over...

1,625 cals WOOHOOO :bouncy: Much better today... but still more than I want

I am so worried... it is a Saturday and today my husband and I will be out at the REO Speedwagon / STYX / 38 Special concert... I sure hope I can eat good all night!! I am going to really try to be strong and resist the 'fun' things the concert grounds sell... but I will have some beer. Today I am down to 143.4 pounds, so yesterdays day of clean eating, water and exercise proved the point I made to myself... I must keep going on this positive road!!

Green Tea Coffee & Protein Granola Bar

Oats w/ Peanut Butter and a splash of Milk (could not eat it all) & Ovaltine Milk

FRIDAYS: Long Island Iced Tea, Chicken Strips & Plain Fries (unseasoned)... did not eat it all :D

CONCERT: 5 Bud Light Beers

HOOTERS: Fried Pickles & Long Island Iced Tea

Cals too high due to alcohol, but my food intake was pretty good today!

Welcome back from vacation - sometimes a break is what you need for a few days in order to stay the course long term.

Glad to see you back to keeping track - that's the first step in getting the calories back under control.

How was Chicago?
PROGRESS, NOT PERFECTION.
