I'mmmmm backkkk! I can not do this alone. I have tried...I have failed. I need to be here! I need your help to save my life! I went to feel good. I want to be a mom that can do everything she wants with her child with no limits. I want to succeed! I need to be healthy and happy...I don't think that's too much to ask for...or too much to work towards! I am here and I will continue to be here. I need your shoulders to lean on and your stories to help keep me strong. Thanks for being here! |

Great to see you again New Gurly! I think for most of us, the hardest part is to realize that we will be living this way for the rest of our lives... this is not something we can do for awhile and then go back to living as we were. Patience, determination and self control are what will get us to our goals... believe me, I have been on this journey for almost 3 years now! I am STILL not to my 'goal' yet... BUT I have maintained an over 50 pound weight loss throughout this time!! I just keep in mind that it is not really the destination (the goal) that is important, it is the journey!! ![]() |

My Goal... NO to TOXINS: chemicals, artificial colors & flavors, preservatives, additives, man made (lab created) 'foods', GMO's, pesticides, added hormones, antibiotics, etc... and YES to ORGANIC: whole, fresh & pure natural living! ~Dannielle Age 42 - 5'5 - Medium Frame ![]() ![]() | |

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I guess the big picture just seems so overwhelming! That's why I am only doing a ticker of 10%...let's worry about that first. I want to change things...not just slap a band-aid on it! Thanks for confirming everything I already knew...here's where I'll get the support I need! |

10% is a great goal -- there are studies that show all the benefits of losing 10% -- I blogged about it a while back let me find the link. http://www.3fatchicks.com/diet-blogs/round/2009/09/23/ive-lost-10-of-my-body-weight/ New Gurly, I've found that consistent presence here & on my blog is really essential to my weight (and sanity), so even when things aren't going well in the weight dept I check in. I separated success in losing from the checking-in as two different goals - that helped a lot. |
