Striving to lose 1/2 a pound a week puts my calorie intake at no more than 1,661 a day...

Friday, January 1st

BREAKFAST: Black Coffee & a Granola Bar

... Ended up leaving Friday afternoon on a mini vacation to visit my Mom for a few days, just got home today. I am going to try to remember everything I ate, however I did not count cals, so that starts today, Monday the 4th.

LUNCH: Protein Bar, Banana & Milk (on the road)

DINNER: 1 Bean Burrito w/ Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Sour Cream & Guacamole at the Mexican Restaurant

Margaritas and then Wine later on...

Saturday, January 2nd

Coffee

a bit of Ham and 2 small Baked Potatoes w/ veg spread and I may of had some Milk

2 slices of Wheat Toast w/ Cinnamon Sugar

1 grilled Cheese Sandwich and Tomato Soup and I think Milk lol

Sunday, January 3rd

Coffee

Ham & Beans on 2 slices of Oat Bread w/ veg spread and 2 slices of Fried Corn Bread w/ veg spread and Milk

4 slices of Pizza (3 were thin crust supreme and 1 was hand tossed bacon) and TONS of water, 'cause that pizza was sodium overload!

OK, I think that is all I had over the last few days...

The weekend is here... I have to force myself to stay in control and keep my food log!

Black Coffee & a Granola Bar - 110 cals

1 cup of Cheerios in 1 cup of Milk and 2 slices of Wheat Toast w/ a bit of Spread & Peanut Butter - 489 cals

Yeah. The whole "The weekend is here... I have to force myself to stay in control and keep my food log!" thing went right out the window today. Spent the entire day at the mall with my GrandBaby :valentines: (her daddy was playing in a Pokemon tournament) and ended up having to eat at the food court. *SHOCK, GASP & CHOKE* ... and you all know how those places are. Ugh, so... I had some sort of Asian food... don't even know what it was called, it was not the 'normal' stuff I am used to seeing, but it was the cheapest thing I could find  Some kind of sweet coated chicken, white rice with hot pepper soy sauce and one crab wonton. SO, I know my cals are way over for the day... but I have no idea by how many. The portion was not huge, (thank goodness!) so I'm taking a guess at around 1,200 for dinner. ??? Anybody agree or disagree with that guess? Let me know if you do, thanks!

... 1,799 cals total and will update if anyone suggests a different cal amount for my dinner

Black Coffee & a Granola Bar - 110 cals

LUNCH out at Denny's: arg, I ate FANTASTICALLY good, but I am unable to know the calorie count because the dumb Denny's site is so heavy and on my sloooow dial up, I cannot get it to load to find out nutrition info :( ANYWAY, I had: 2 Whole Wheat Pancakes (light butter & syrup), 1 Chicken Sausage Patty, 2 Egg Whites scrambled and Black Coffee :happydance: and it was sooo yummy! EDIT: been looking these up, don't know if the counts are perfectly correct, but: 2 whole wheat pancakes: 310 & the light butter & syrup: 100, 1 chicken sausage patty: 110 , 2 egg whites: 50 and the black coffee: 10 ... = 580 cals :happydance:

Wheat Bread w/ leftover Spaghetti Sauce and a few Meatballs - 600 cals

Light Nonfat Yogurt - UGH!!!! I bought the WRONG STUFF! This has the yucky man made sweetner in it, and BOY could I taste it! BLAH!!! :( - 80 cals

1 Mozzarella String Cheese Stick, 3 Wheat Crackers, 1 Roma Tomato and V8 Splash - 213 cals

... :happydance: 1,583 cals total :proud:

Hi Nic, no not Splenda, it is sweetened with: Sucralose, Neotame and Acesulfame Potassium UCK and it has made me super sick to my stomach, so the other two go straight into the garbage!! I really hate throwing food away, but seriously, this stuff is toxic! :(

Black Coffee

ugh TOM arrived today and there is no way I am counting cals... I'm too  to even care what I eat. I have not had much as of yet today (3:44 pm) but I know I will eat throughout the evening, and it probably will not be the best of choices. Anyhow, hopefully within the next few days I will feel like getting back to tracking my food and making smarter healthier choices. My mind says "I want to be thinner" but my will does not want to do the work to achieve the results I desire *sigh*
