thank you cherri, purrple and sapphire :)

Well today i was feeling ok TOM wise, so i figred i'd be ok going to play tennis. Last night i got a charley horse thing in my right leg, but it wasn't too too bad this morning( could walk on it ok) so i figured i'd be alright.

It is about 27 C/80F outside, and that is with the humidex (meaning it feels hotter then the actual temperature)...and after about 30 minutes i felt really dizzy and i had to sit down. I took about a 5 min break, played another 10 minutes, and had to stop.

So, 40 minutes tennis. I am sad because i look forward to tennis each saturday and i wanted to play more, but everytime i was standing up i was feeling dizzy lol.

Probably a combination of TOM and the heat. :(

thank you cherri and purrple :) I think i learned two valuable lessons the past two days

1. don't push myself too hard on the first 3 days of cycle
2. don't play tennis in the heat of the morning, go early before sun is at full blast :)

I feel like such a lazy person lately, but i have been walking to and from work each day, taking stairs at work...so not terrible.

Today i did a 45 min muscle sculpt class, and it was really demanding. We didn't really get any breaks and basically worked every muscle.

Cardio today is walking...40 minutes (to work, to gym, back from gym, back home)...haven't gone home yet but i will be eventually

I think you are doing fantastic. Rember back before we started living each day the healthiest we could? How much exercise did you get then? If you are anything like me... the answer is not much at all. SO, my point is... lazy? Hardly! ;)

you are right teach :D Looking back at how i've changed, it is quite amazing. I never would have guessed i'd love going to the gym so much, or that i'd chose the stairs over the elevator. The best thing is that i've made lifetime changes, and i know this process doesn't end when the scale hits a certain number. I am excited for the future, and although life maybe isn't the best at the moment,i know things will improve.

Thanks :Huggs:

cough cough...dusty in here

Well obviously i haven't been exercising since ihad my surgery, a nd i wanted to make sure i have recovered enough before i got back into it. I think i'm well enough now to give exercising a try. I actually got a set of dumbells for my birthday (6lb ones) so i've been doing a few exercises at home here and there and things are going ok.

Looking forward to getting back to the gym!!!!! :danceparty:

ok, well today is the big day (i think)...i am going to go to step aerobics later this afternoon.

I am actually really nervous! I haven't gone to the gym in like 2 weeks  I'm just worried i'll be so disappointed with my fitness level at the moment. I guess all i can do is to go and see where i'm at, and not worry too much about it.

thanks teach!

well i did indeed do my step aerobics (1 hour)

plus 20 minutes walking, and stairs at work...

that quite alot of exercise for me at the moment since i've not been to the gym in so long.

It went not badly, i gulped my water too fast and had some severe pain on one side of my mouth for about half the class though :grrrrrr:

I was really really tired by the end, and certainly not as energetic as usual, but i made it through the class and i'll get better the more time that goes on.

Oh my goodness Shy, you are lucky you did not get the storms yesterday. They were SCARY!! Thunder, lightning, hail and that weird darkness that goes along with tornadoes. Massive amounts of rain, it was crazy.
