bananas are good too in smoothies, but relatively high in calories and they are also not one of my favorite fruits so i don't buy them often.

I was kind of surprised by the orange frankly (except I loved orangsicles when I was a kid!) but it really is yummy and you get all the fiber which you don't get in juice. I've been really happy with it. Grapefruit is good too, but weird w milk so if I use that i tend to add juice instead...

One small choc bar is still in control - I'm guessing it's less chocolate than you were having before?

Do you eat milk or dark chocolate?

i have those cadbury 100 cal choc bars. I like the mint, toffee, and milk chocolate ones. :)

oh yes definately less than before! i was probably eating 3-4 of those bars each day, plus other chocolate.

have you tried dark chocolate? If you haven't tried it in a while it's worth looking into, because you get a big chocolate taste in a small amount - especially if you eat it slowly by cutting it into small bits or taking tiny bites. It takes much longer to eat for most people and the rich deep taste can be really satisfying.

I often find a square or two is enough for my chocolate fix - but I don't really like the milk stuff.

You've done really well on cutting back!

I was thinking the other day how glad I was that the 100-cal packs hadn't yet invaded France because it kind of encourages you to still eat the not-so-good choices, just less of them (I've bought them a few times in the US).
PROGRESS, NOT PERFECTION.

thank you sarah- i do like dark chocolate :)

yes i agree, the 100 cal packs in my opinion encourage one to eat bad things they may not have eaten...they are fine if you have lots of self control though..i just don't :S

i haven't been eating well. TOM started last night, a few days late, and i am wiped. It is very painful..more than usual...

not that this is an excuse, but i sure haven't eaten well, and my weight is up again...

thank you nic :)

this has been a hard month for me TOM wise. I am very weak today from the loss of you know...and i just had a 40 minute episode of my heart beat going at 180bpm or so, while i am siting here at the computer..not sure what is going on with me but i think it is just something to do with my blood pressure...i feel somewhat better now....walking into work this am (10 min walk) just about wiped me out completely...

sorry don't mean to complain  i have just honestly not been through this before. I think i am going to go home early today (again :( ) and rest and hopefully feel better.

O'my girl ((HUGS)) take care of yourself!! Also, drink a tall glass of fresh orange juice... yes, I know it is full of calories, but it replenishes what you have lost and believe me, it's worth the calories IMO!! :huggs:
