This is a really simple, light and basic salad that my family has always made in the summer. ![]() ingredients: Cucumber (picked fresh from the garden is best!) Plain Yogurt (plain, not vanilla) Salt Pepper Some thinly sliced onion if you are feeling fancy Fresh dill Basically, just slice up the cucumber...i prefer pretty thin slices. If you want to slice up the onion put that into the bowl as well. Then add as much yogurt as you want, with the salt, pepper and dill mixed into it. Toss together gently and eat! ![]() ***************** If you don't have enough yogurt, you can use sour cream instead, or a mixture of sour cream/yogurt. Sour cream gives it a richer taste. You could always add other spices if you wanted to. Sometimes we add garlic (fresh)...but really in my house we add garlic to most everything.

Thanks for the recipe Shy. I make sour cream cucumber's but never though about putting yogurt on them. Less calories.
