HEALTHY TIP:
Diet soda may have no calories, but it contains artificial sweetener, which actually will make us hungrier
because when the body gets ready to digest the 'carbohydrates', it finds there are none. This leads to a desire to eat more.

Well, back in January when I started this new life, I had *wanted* to be at goal weight by now  the innocence of that ignorance is so funny. But I must buy a new swimsuit for the season... I hate the fact that it *may* not fit for long, with the price those things are! :grrrrrr:

ooo have fun swimsuit shopping! You'll look great. They have so many options now too...one piece, two piece, shorts bottoms, skirt bottoms, tankini...etc :)

lol, when i started off in May 2006, i had fully expected and desired to be my goal weight of 175lbs by June 15, 2007...which obviously isn't going to happen. We all grow during this healthy lifestyle journey as we are losing i guess :danceparty:

I have always worn a t-shirt or a tank top with a bathing suit. I can't imagine going without! But I hope by the end of summer I can. Mind you I won't leave the yard lmao!

I know what you mean Teach. i bought some new clothes in March and they fall off of me now. It's disappointing because of the money spent. Plus the one pair of jeans were the absolute best, most comfy Levi's I have ever had! I can put them on and take them off very easily without even undoing them now! Buying those new clothes and feeling so good in them almost made me not want to lose anymore weight. But now I'm glad I have. But I'm not buying anymore clothes until goal. Thank God it's summer because if it weren't for shorts and tank tops I'd have nothing to wear at all. :P
