HEALTHY TIP:
Diet soda may have no calories, but it contains artificial sweetener, which actually will make us hungrier
because when the body gets ready to digest the 'carbohydrates', it finds there are none. This leads to a desire to eat more.

Ok so it isn't ice cream, but it's a darn good substitution! I'll call it my scream!!! Because I made it and I screamed with joy when I tasted it!

Here's what you'll need....

4 serving size strawberry low cal jello
1 pkg dream whip
1/2 cup skim milk
1 cup (166 grams) sliced strawberries

Make your jello according to the package directions. I threw mine in the freezer to get it to partially set and stirred it occasionally. Then I beat the dream whip and milk together until stiff. When the jello was partially set I added the whipped cream and strawberries and stirred it to combine. Then I popped it into the freezer and stirred it every 5-10 mins
to evenly distribute the strawberries. Now I'm sitting here waiting for it to freeze. I had a bit on the side that already froze and it was pretty darn good! Now here is the good part....

Makes 4 - 1 cup servings

per cup

64.5 calories
trace of fat
12 grams carbs
2.6 grams protein

I happen to have some strawberry ripple ice cream in the freezer and here's what it is...

per 1/2 cup serviing

130 calories
11 grams of fat
18 grams of carb
1 gram of protein

So as you can see Myscream is a much better choice! If anyone tries this please let me know what you think! I can't wait to experiment with other flavors. :happydance:
