HEALTHY TIP:
Diet soda may have no calories, but it contains artificial sweetener, which actually will make us hungrier
because when the body gets ready to digest the 'carbohydrates', it finds there are none. This leads to a desire to eat more.

Tonight I made Whole Wheat Spaghetti (330 cal/ 9g fibre per 1/5 box) with broccoli, mushrooms, onions and almonds.

I tossed the cut up broccoli into the boiling pasta and pan fried the mushrooms and onions with the almonds (10 per person), drained the pasta and tossed with the mushroom/onion/almond stuff (about 200 cal per person). So the pasta dish was about 530 cal for a very generous portion. Season as desired.

(I confess I had some cheesy flatbread on the side 230 cal which could be skipped but I still have a few calories to spare for the rest of the day)
