I haven't been measuring or recording much but I think my weight is more or less stable.

My pregnancy woes have finally come to an end with a diagnosis & treatment for ectopic pregnancy (I won't go into that here, for those who wish more details are on my blog). I had 2 meals of bad eating but otherwise have been trying to spoil myself with healthy food and focusing on the future by taking good care of myself instead of letting myself slide into a pity party and self-sabotage (which could be VERY easy right now).

As I write this I have a deep-conditioning hair mask on and a moisturizing face mask - so trying to do the best I can.

I'm slowly getting back to normal. I'm off to a 4 day meeting in Oslo this week, which is good because I'm usually quite good with my eating on trips, especially in Scandinavia.

Exercise won't be happening, but I'm not kidding myself that it would have been better at home.

I'd like to start doing some simple ab exercises since I have a really jiggly situation going on here, and maybe this would be a good time to start that...

Just a couple of ab exercises a day, slow and sure and before you know it, you will be wanting more :) Have a safe trip Sarah!

Well everyone, I'm finally facing the music again - another big gain and my highest weight in over 6 years. Ugh.

But better to deal with it than to stay in denial forever...

Thanks Teach and Princess - I'm glad to be back.

My plan - well, starting slow, starting with concentrating on what I SHOULD eat instead of the (long) list of what I shouldn't.

I'm going to keep a paper diary for a week. I'm going to head back to exercise (but not sure when -- hasn't happened yet

I'm going to come by here more often. I found a friend to be a diet buddy (and I'm actually going to try to get her to come here -- sssshhhhh it's a secret!)

I'm going to blog more regularly too.

Hi Sarah, I remember seeing your name when I first started on this site...back in Sept. I think.... I wanted to meet you, but you were just gone :( ....but, yay, :bouncy: happy you are back with us here. A diet buddy is a great motivation. Hope she comes here soon. You are to be commended for not giving up & your attitude & outlook is great motivation for us all.
I like your saying....Progress...not Perfection...maybe you would like to enter it in our motto contest. Just find the motto thread & submit by end of Nov....we will be taking a vote.
