HEALTHY TIP:
Diet soda may have no calories, but it contains artificial sweetener, which actually will make us hungrier
because when the body gets ready to digest the 'carbohydrates', it finds there are none. This leads to a desire to eat more.

Did you try just room temp water? That is always helpful with my sensitive teeth... You are holding steady (which is so wonderful since you have lost over 80 pounds) but I do know you want to loose more... I just wanted to say you are doing great Nic!! :jumping:

i think you are likely bloated nic :huggs: Teach is right..you have done great, but I completely understand how you feel about wanting to continue losing! :)

Re the room temp water...personally i dislike water unless it is really cold...or if it is hot ie tea...room temp i can't bring myself to drink! My teeth get sensitive at times as well, not sure what causes it to happen so sporadically.

unfortunately room temp still hurts as well. At least I'm getting in lots of green tea - maybe I will drink some more decaf/non caf teas to make up for the water. I even had to heat up the frozen fruit...

Nic,
Reading your posts I totally understand your frustration at the ups & downs and the plateaus. But... I took on look at your ticker  and you have accomplished an amazing amount of weight loss! :wooohooo: Step back and look at yourself from a stranger's perspective.
:congratulations: I think you are :fantastic: and have done something already that not many people are able to do. If the past is a predictor of the future, you WILL get to your goal.

i guess we both had an increase this week nic, but i don't believe the increase for one second! we will be back down to our previous weights in no time. Just have to step up the exercise, make sure we eat right.and hope for the best! :huggs:

One thing kind of in keeping with healthymama's comment...just think, even with the ups and downs you are experiencing lately, you are not going back over 200lbs....and that in itself is a great accomplishment! :happydance:

Thank you - ALL of YOU! It was nice to have some encouraging posts (especially since I had 2 pairs of pants rip at the butt this week - )
I just have to find a balance to fit everything in... one step at a time...
