HEALTHY TIP:
Don't be afraid to eat meat, just choose lean cuts of beef and pork, and lean poultry such as turkey, and make sure to have a large side serving of vegetables!

Hello chickadees!
I thought it was nigh on time I checked in and outlined how the whole maintenance thing is going...

It is almost 15 months since I started maintaining my weight and , despite a few hiccups, I have managed to keep a check on it. I have settled into a regime really and have noticed that as long as I exercise at least 4 times a week then I can maintain pretty easily. The calorie intake is now sitting at around 1900-2000 a day (this is with an hours exercise) and this seems perfectly adequate to maintaining my weight. I have learnt that remaining hydrated not only make me look healthier but also encourages a better performance with the exercise. Not rocket science I know but I think it is pretty easy to become dehydrated if you do not force yourself to drink throughout the day.

My body seems to almost 'know' what to do to lose now and I can just tweak things slightly to get the pounds off although I think that my true maintenance weight is around the 149 pound mark...for running I want another 5 pounds off.

So that is a quick update! All is going ok and I am happy to say that, so far, maintenance seems to be working :fantastic:
